As
the series moved to Chicago, Swisher opened the scoring with his third
home run of the series in the third. Luckily for the Sox nobody was on
base. Hideki Matsui and Alex Rodriguez hit solo shots of their own in
the fourth and it looked grim for the home team. Petite was strong for
seven innings, giving , but tired in the eighth and was lifted for Phil
Coke who alloqws onw of Pettite’s runners to score as well as one of his
own. After nine the game had been tied at three, and in the tenth Frank
Thomas hit a one-out solo home run to give the White Sox new life with a
